A measurement of the splitting scales, as defined by the kT clustering algorithm,  for final states containg a W boson produced in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy  7 TeV.  The measurements uses the full 2010 data sample with a total integrated luminsoity of 36 pb-1.  The measurements are made separately for W bosons decaying into electron and muuon final states. Details  of the splitting scale variable d_k are described in the paper.
