Measurement of the production cross section of D+- and D0/DBAR0 mesons in interactions of 27.5 GeV electrons with 920 GeV protons at a centre of mass energy of 318 GeV. The measurement cover the kinematic range in Q**2 of 5 to 1000 GeV**2, Y from 0.02 to 0.7, PT(D) from 1.5 to 15 GeV and pseudorapidity(D) from -1.6 to 1.6. The data were taken in the 2004 to 2005 running period with an integrated luminosity of 133.6 +- 3.5 pb-1.
