Dijet masses up to about 4.5 TeV are probed. No resonance-like features are observed in the dijet mass spectrum. Limits on the cross section times acceptance are set at the 95% credibility level for various hypotheses of new phenomena in terms of mass or energy scale, as appropriate. This analysis excludes excited quarks with a mass below 4.06 TeV, color-octet scalars with a mass below 2.70 TeV, heavy $W'$ bosons with a mass below 2.45 TeV, chiral ${W^{\\ast}}$ bosons with a mass below 1.75 TeV, and quantum black holes with six extra space-time dimensions with threshold mass below 5.66 TeV.","hasPart":[{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.66572.v1/t1","@type":"Dataset","description":"The reconstructed dijet mass distribution (observed) fitted with a smooth functional form (expected) of 4-parameter or 5-parameter.","name":"Table 1"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.66572.v1/t2","@type":"Dataset","description":"Dijet mass resolution obtained from fully simulated PYTHIA QCD Monte Carlo PYTHIA 8.175 [43], with the AU2 tune obtained from...","name":"Table 2"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.66572.v1/t3","@type":"Dataset","description":"Total cross sections, branching ratios in qg only and acceptances for qg, qgamma, qW, qZ decays (A) for the q*...","name":"Table 3"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.66572.v1/t4","@type":"Dataset","description":"Total cross sections (cross section), branching ratios (BR(gg)) and acceptances (A) for decays in gg, for the S8 model.","name":"Table 4"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.66572.v1/t5","@type":"Dataset","description":"Total cross sections (cross section),next-to-next-to-leading order k-factors, branching ratios (BR(qqbar prime)) and acceptances for decays in q anti-q prime only...","name":"Table 5"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.66572.v1/t6","@type":"Dataset","description":"Total cross sections (cross section), branching ratios (BR(qqbar prime)) and acceptances for decays in q anti-q prime only (A) for...","name":"Table 6"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.66572.v1/t7","@type":"Dataset","description":"Total cross sections (cross section), branching ratios (BR(qqbar prime)) and acceptances for all decays (A) for the W* leptophilic model.","name":"Table 7"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.66572.v1/t8","@type":"Dataset","description":"Total cross sections (cross section), branching ratios only involving q and g (BR(q/g)) and acceptances for all decays into jets...","name":"Table 8"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.66572.v1/t9","@type":"Dataset","description":"Total cross sections (cross section), branching ratios only involving q and g (BR(q/g)) and acceptances for all decays into jets...","name":"Table 9"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.66572.v1/t10","@type":"Dataset","description":"Observed limit on cross section times acceptance for each width and mass of Gaussian signal shape tested.","name":"Table 10"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.66572.v1/t11","@type":"Dataset","description":"Observed limit on cross section times acceptance for each intrinsic width and mass of Breit-Wigner signal shape tested.
