Collisions between prolate uranium nuclei are used to study how particle production and azimuthal anisotropies depend on initial geometry in heavy-ion collisions. We report the two- and four-particle cumulants, $v_2\\{2\\}$ and $v_2\\{4\\}$, for charged hadrons from U+U collisions at $\\sqrt{s_{\\rm NN}}$ = 193 GeV and Au+Au collisions at $\\sqrt{s_{\\rm NN}}$ = 200 GeV. Nearly fully overlapping collisions are selected based on the amount of energy deposited by spectators in the STAR Zero Degree Calorimeters (ZDCs). Within this sample, the observed dependence of $v_2\\{2\\}$ on multiplicity demonstrates that ZDC information combined with multiplicity can preferentially select different overlap configurations in U+U collisions. An initial-state model with gluon saturation describes the slope of $v_2\\{2\\}$ as a function of multiplicity in central collisions better than one based on Glauber with a two-component multiplicity model.","hasPart":[{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t1","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 1"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t2","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 2"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t3","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 3"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t4","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 4"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t5","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 5"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t6","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 6"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t7","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 7"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t8","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 8"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t9","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 9"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t10","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 10"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t11","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 11"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t12","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 12"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t13","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 13"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t14","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 14"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t15","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 15"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t16","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 16"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t17","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 17"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t18","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 18"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t19","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 19"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.71502.v1/t20","@type":"Dataset","description":"No description provided.","name":"Table 20"}],"identifier":[{"@type":"PropertyValue","propertyID":"HEPDataRecord","value":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/ins1373553?version=1"},{"@type":"PropertyValue","propertyID":"HEPDataRecordAlt","value":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/71502"}],"inLanguage":"en","name":"Azimuthal anisotropy in U+U and Au+Au collisions at RHIC","provider":{"@type":"Organization","name":"HEPData"},"publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"HEPData"},"url":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/ins1373553?version=1","version":1}
