Abstract (data abstract)
CERN-LHC. A measurement of electroweak-induced production of W gamma and two jets is performed, where the W boson decays leptonically. The data used in the analysis correspond to an integrated luminosity of 19.7 fb^-1 collected by the CMS experiment in center-of-mass energy 8 TeV proton-proton collisions produced at the LHC. Candidate events are selected with exactly one muon or electron, missing transverse momentum, one photon, and two jets with large rapidity separation. The fiducial region is defined as: - pTj1 > 30 GeV, |etaj1| < 4.7 - pTj2 > 30 GeV, |etaj1| < 4.7 - mjj > 700 GeV, |deltaetaJJ| > 2.4 - ptLepton > 20 GeV and |etaLepton| < 2.4 - ptGamma > 20 GeV and |etaGamma| < 1.4442 - missing transverse energy > 20 GeV - deltaR(jj,lj,jgamma, lgamma) > 0.4
