A significant $v_3$ signal for protons is observed, which increases for higher rapidity, higher transverse momentum, and more peripheral collisions. The triangular flow is essentially rapidity-odd with a slope at mid-rapidity, $dv_3/dy|_{(y=0)}$, opposite in sign compared to the slope for directed flow. No significant $v_3$ signal is observed for charged pions and kaons. Comparisons with models suggest that a mean field potential is required to describe these results, and that the triangular shape of the participant nucleons is the result of stopping and nuclear geometry.","hasPart":[{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.144480.v2/t1","@type":"Dataset","description":"Event plane resolutions for calculating $v_3\\{\\Psi_1\\}$ as a function of centrality from $\\sqrt{s_{\\textrm{NN}}}=3$ GeV Au+Au collisions at STAR.","name":"Figure 3"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.144480.v2/t2","@type":"Dataset","description":"$v_3\\{\\Psi_1\\}$ vs. centrality for $\\pi^+$, $\\pi^-$, and protons using the event plane method in $\\sqrt{s_{\\textrm{NN}}}=3$ GeV Au+Au collisions at STAR.","name":"Figure 4"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.144480.v2/t3","@type":"Dataset","description":"$v_3\\{\\Psi_1\\}$ vs. centrality for $K^+$, and $K^-$ using the event plane method in $\\sqrt{s_{\\textrm{NN}}}=3$ GeV Au+Au collisions at STAR.","name":"Figure 5"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.144480.v2/t4","@type":"Dataset","description":"$v_3\\{\\Psi_1\\}$ vs. rapidity for protons in three large centrality bins from a symmetric acceptance across midrapidity in $\\sqrt{s_{\\textrm{NN}}}=3$ GeV Au+Au...","name":"Figure 6"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.144480.v2/t5","@type":"Dataset","description":"$v_3\\{\\Psi_1\\}$ vs. rapidity for protons in three large centrality bins from only the backward region in $\\sqrt{s_{\\textrm{NN}}}=3$ GeV Au+Au collisions...","name":"Figure 7"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.144480.v2/t6","@type":"Dataset","description":"$v_3\\{\\Psi_1\\}$ vs. $p_{\\mathrm{T}}$ for protons in three large centrality bins in $\\sqrt{s_{\\textrm{NN}}}=3$ GeV Au+Au collisions at STAR. $v_3\\{\\Psi_1\\}$ becomes increasingly...","name":"Figure 8"}],"identifier":[{"@type":"PropertyValue","propertyID":"HEPDataRecord","value":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/ins2702151?version=2"},{"@type":"PropertyValue","propertyID":"HEPDataRecordAlt","value":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/144480"}],"inLanguage":"en","name":"Reaction plane correlated triangular flow in Au+Au collisions at $\\mathbf{\\sqrt{s_{\\textrm{NN}}}=3}$ GeV","provider":{"@type":"Organization","name":"HEPData"},"publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"HEPData"},"url":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/ins2702151?version=2","version":2}
