A suppression of the J/\\psi yield, quantified using the nuclear modification factors (R_{\\mathrm{AA}}, R_{\\mathrm{CP}}), is observed with respect to the scaled production in p+p collisions. The dependence of R_{\\mathrm{AA}} on collision centrality and J/\\psi transverse momentum is measured with improved precision compared to previous measurements at 39 and 62.4 GeV, while the centrality dependence of R_{\\mathrm{CP}} is measured and compared to the same results at 39, 62.4, and 200 GeV. In central collisions, no significant collision energy dependence of R_{\\mathrm{AA}} is found within uncertainties for collision energies between 17.3 and 200 GeV. Two transport model calculations that include dissociation and regeneration contributions are consistent with the experimental results within uncertainties. Although no significant collision energy dependence of the J/\\psi suppression in high energy heavy-ion collisions up to \\sqrt{s_\\mathrm{NN}} = 200 GeV is observed within uncertainties, the newly measured results at 54.4 GeV Au+Au collisions provide additional constraints on theoretical calculations of the hot medium evolution and cold nuclear matter effects.","hasPart":[{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.159931.v1/t1","@type":"Dataset","description":"Invariant yield J/$\\psi$ $\\times$ 10, 0-60\\%","name":"Figure 2 (Au+Au 54.4, 0-60%)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.159931.v1/t2","@type":"Dataset","description":"Invariant yield J/$\\psi$, 0-20\\%","name":"Figure 2 (Au+Au 54.4, 0-20%)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.159931.v1/t3","@type":"Dataset","description":"Invariant yield J/$\\psi$, 20-40\\%","name":"Figure 2 (Au+Au 54.4, 20-40%)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.159931.v1/t4","@type":"Dataset","description":"Invariant yield J/$\\psi$, 40-60\\%","name":"Figure 2 (Au+Au 54.4, 40-60%)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.159931.v1/t5","@type":"Dataset","description":"$R_{AA}$ J/$\\psi$, 54.4 GeV, $p_{T} (GeV/c)$ > 0.2 GeV/c, $\\vert y \\vert$ < 1.0","name":"Figure 3 (Au+Au 54.4, Raa vs Npart)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.159931.v1/t6","@type":"Dataset","description":"$R_{CP}$ J/$\\psi$, 54.4 GeV, $p_{T} (GeV/c)$ > 0.2 GeV/c, $\\vert y \\vert$ < 1.0","name":"Figure 4 (Au+Au 54.4, Rcp vs Npart)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.159931.v1/t7","@type":"Dataset","description":"$R_{AA}$ J/$\\psi$, 0-20%, 54.4 GeV, $p_{T} (GeV/c)$ > 0.2 GeV/c, $\\vert y \\vert$ < 1.0","name":"Figure 5 (Au+Au 54.4, Raa vs cme)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.159931.v1/t8","@type":"Dataset","description":"$R_{AA}$ J/$\\psi$, 0-60\\%, 54.4 GeV, $\\vert y \\vert$ < 1.0","name":"Figure 6 (Au+Au 54.4, Raa vs pT, 0-60)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.159931.v1/t9","@type":"Dataset","description":"$R_{AA}$ J/$\\psi$, 0-20\\%, 54.4 GeV, $\\vert y \\vert$ < 1.0","name":"Figure 6 (Au+Au 54.4, Raa vs pT, 0-20)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.159931.v1/t10","@type":"Dataset","description":"$R_{AA}$ J/$\\psi$, 20-40\\%, 54.4 GeV, $\\vert y \\vert$ < 1.0","name":"Figure 6 (Au+Au 54.4, Raa vs pT, 20-40)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.159931.v1/t11","@type":"Dataset","description":"$R_{AA}$ J/$\\psi$, 40-60\\%, 54.4 GeV, $\\vert y \\vert$ < 1.0","name":"Figure 6 (Au+Au 54.4, Raa vs pT, 40-60)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.159931.v1/t12","@type":"Dataset","description":"$r_{AA}$ J/$\\psi$, 54.4 GeV, $\\vert y \\vert$ < 1.0","name":"Figure 7 (Au+Au 54.4, raa vs Npart)"}],"identifier":[{"@type":"PropertyValue","propertyID":"HEPDataRecord","value":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/ins2939270?version=1"},{"@type":"PropertyValue","propertyID":"HEPDataRecordAlt","value":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/159931"}],"inLanguage":"en","name":"Measurement of inclusive $J/\u03c8$ production in Au+Au collisions at $\\sqrt{s_\\mathrm{NN}} = 54.4$ GeV at STAR","provider":{"@type":"Organization","name":"HEPData"},"publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"HEPData"},"url":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/ins2939270?version=1","version":1}
