The HEPData service is offered by CERN, as part of its mission to publish the results of its
experimental and theoretical work, and Durham University
through a grant from STFC.
Use of the HEPData service denotes agreement with the following terms:
- The HEPData service is provided free of charge;
- Unless specified otherwise for selected datasets, all metadata and datasets in the HEPData service
are made available under the terms of
CC0;
- Any other content is made available under its applicable license conditions as specified on the
relevant web pages;
- Download and use of content from the HEPData service does not, unless expressly stated in the
applicable license conditions, transfer any intellectual property;
- Bulk downloading of personal data taken from the HEPData service is not allowed.
- All content is provided “as is” and the user shall hold the service and the content providers
free and harmless in connection with their use of such content; and
- The service providers reserve the right, without notice, at their sole discretion and without
liability, to restrict or remove user access where they consider that use of the HEPData service
interferes with its operations or violates these Terms of Use or applicable laws.
These Terms of Use are subject to change at any time and without notice, other than through posting the
updated Terms of Use on the HEPData website.
