Seventeen differential cross sections of the pion-nucleon charge-exchange reaction have been measured at total center-of-mass energies of 1245, 1337, and 1363 MeV. Most measurements are based on the neutron-photon coincidence method, using carefully calibrated neutron counters and an efficient, large-area photon detector. The results are used to test the predictions of charge independence, with which they agree. The results also confirm the Ayed-Bareyre-Sonderegger phase-degeneracy hypothesis at θ̃π0=180°.

The cross section of the process e+ e- ---> eta gamma has been measured in the 600-1380 MeV c.m. energy range with the CMD-2 detector. The following branching ratios have been determined: B(rho ---> eta gamma) = (3.28 +- 0.37 +- 0.23) 10^{-4}, B(omega ---> eta gamma) = (5.10 +- 0.72 +- 0.34) 10^{-4}, B(phi --> eta gamma) = (1.287 +- 0.013 +- 0.063) 10^{-2}. Evidence for the rho'(1450) ---> eta gamma decay has been obtained for the first time.

A search for phi radiative decays has been performed using a data sample of about 2.0 million phi decays collected by the CMD-2 detector at VEPP-2M collider in Novosibirsk. From the selected e+ e- -> pi+ pi- gamma events the following results were obtained: B(phi -> f0(980) gamma) < 1x10-4 for destructive and B(phi -> f0(980) gamma) < 7x10-4 for constructive interference with the Bremsstrahlung process respectively, B(phi -> gamma -> pi+ pi- gamma) < 3x10-5 for E of gamma > 20 MeV, B(phi -> rho gamma) < 7x10-4. From the selected e+ e- -> mu+ mu- gamma events B(phi -> mu+ mu- gamma) = (2.3+-1.0)x10-5 has been obtained for E of gamma> 20 MeV. The upper limit on the P,CP-violating decay eta -> pi+ pi- has also been placed: B(eta -> pi+ pi-) < 9x10-4 . All upper limits are at 90 % C.L.
Only statistical errors are shown in the table.
About 300 000 $e^+e^-\to \phi\to K^0_L K^0_S$ events in the center of mass energy range from 984 to 1040 MeV were used for the measurement of the $\phi$ meson parameters. The following results have been obtained: $\sigma_0 = (1367 \pm 15 \pm 21) nb, m_{\phi}=(1019.504 \pm 0.011 \pm 0.033) MeV/c^2, \Gamma_\phi=(4.477 \pm 0.036 \pm 0.022) MeV, \Gamma_{e^+e^-}\cdot B(\phi\to K^0_L K^0_S) = (4.364 \pm 0.048 \pm 0.065)\cdot 10^{-4}$ MeV.

Using 11.6 pb^{-1} of data collected in the energy range 0.984--1.06 GeV by CMD-2 at VEPP-2M, the cross section of the reaction e+e- to pi+pi-pi+pi- has been studied. For the first time an interference pattern was observed in the energy dependence of the cross section near the phi meson. The branching ratio of the phi to pi+pi-pi+pi- decay double suppressed by the G-parity and OZI rule is measured Br(phi to pi+pi-pi+pi-) = (3.93 +- 1.74 +- 2.14) \cdot 10^{-6}. The upper limits have been placed for the decays phi to pi+pi-pi+pi-pi0 and phi to eta pi+pi- Br(phi to pi+pi-pi+pi-pi0) < 4.6 \cdot 10^{-6} 90% CL, Br(phi to eta pi+pi-) < 1.8 \cdot 10^{-5} 90% CL.
Only statistical errors are presented. The total systematic error is estimated to about 13 PCT.
The processes e+ e- --> eta gamma, e+ e- --> pi0 gamma --> 3 gamma have been studied in the c.m. energy range 600--1380 MeV with the CMD-2 detector. The following branching ratios have been determined: Br(rho --> eta gamma) = (3.21 +- 1.39 +- 0.20)x 10^{-4}; Br(omega --> eta gamma) = (4.44 + 2.29 -1.83 +- 0.28)x 10^{-4}; Br(phi --> eta gamma) = (1.373 +- 0.014 +- 0.085)x 10^{-2}; Br(rho --> pi0 gamma) = (6.21 +1.28 - 1.18 +- 0.39)x 10^{-4}; Br(omega --> pi0 gamma) = (9.06 +- 0.20 +- 0.57)x 10^{-2}; Br(phi --> pi0 gamma) = (1.258 +- 0.037 +- 0.077)x 10^{-3};

The cross section of the process e+ e- --> omega pi0 --> pi0 pi0 gamma has been measured in the c.m. energy range 920-1380 MeV with the CMD-2 detector. Its energy dependence is well described by the interference of the rho(770) and rho'(1450) mesons decaying to omega pi0. We describe a search for the pair production of first-generation scalar and vector leptoquarks in the eejj and enujj channels by the D0 Collaboration. The data are from the 1992--1996 ppbar run at sqrt{s} = 1.8 TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. We find no evidence for leptoquark production; in addition, no kinematically interesting events are observed using relaxed selection criteria. The results from the eejj and enujj channels are combined with those from a previous D0 analysis of the nunujj channel to obtain 95% confidence level (C.L.) upper limits on the leptoquark pair-production cross section as a function of mass and of beta, the branching fraction to a charged lepton. These limits are compared to next-to-leading-order theory to set 95% C.L. lower limits on the mass of a first-generation scalar leptoquark of 225, 204, and 79 GeV/c^2 for beta=1, 1/2, and 0, respectively. For vector leptoquarks with gauge (Yang-Mills) couplings, 95% C.L. lower limits of 345, 337, and 206 GeV/c^2 are set on the mass for beta=1, 1/2, and 0, respectively. Mass limits for vector leptoquarks are also set for anomalous vector couplings.

We have measured the cross-section ratio σ(νn)σ(νp) for both charged-current and neutral-current interactions at low energy. The experiment used the wide-band neutrino beam at Brookhaven National Laboratory. The detector was the 7-foot bubble chamber filled with a 62% neon-hydrogen mixture. For charged-current events we find that the ratio reaches an asymptotic value of 1.80±0.19 for neutrino energies above 1 GeV. For neutral-current events we measure the ratio to be 1.07±0.24. Both of these results are in agreement with the quark model.
