We report on an experiment to obtain differential cross sections for K+p elastic scattering in the vicinity of the possible exotic baryon, the Z1*(1900). The differential cross sections are based on typically 70 000 selected events in the angular region −0.9≤cosθc.m.≤0.9 at each of 22 momenta from 0.865 to 2.125 GeV/c. The data are intended for use in partial-wave analysis to search for the Z1*.

New data are presented on the reaction K − n → K ∗− (890) n from a deuterium bubble chamber experiment. An energy-dependent partial-wave analysis from threshold to 2170 MeV c.m. energy is described, in which a new decay mode of the Σ(2030) resonance into K ∗ (890) N in the S = 3 2 state is clearly observed. An amplitude at resonance of 0.12 ± 0.02 is obtained, consistent with the assignment of the Σ (2030) to the same SU(3) decuplet as the Δ(1950).

The production and decay of the quasi-two-body final states KΔ(1232) and K ∗ (892)N produced in K + d interactions below 1.5 GeV/ c have been studied in a bubble chamber experiment.
DIFFERENTIAL CROSS SECTIONS FROM THE HYDROGEN DATA, F. GRIFFITHS ET AL., NP B38, 365 (1972), RENORMALIZED TO THE CROSS SECTION (QUOTED HERE) GIVEN BY THE INTERFERENCE MODEL.
New bubble chamber data on the reaction K − n → π − Λ in the c.m.s. energy range 2050 MeV to 2175 MeV are presented. These new data have been combined with published data on this reaction and on the reaction K − p → π 0 Λ and a partial-wave analysis has been carried out between 1875 MeV and 2175 MeV. Parameters of the established resonances in this c.m.s. energy region have been determined and further evidence is presented for the existence of a Σ resonance with mass around 2100 MeV/ c 2 in the P 3 partial wave.

The reaction p p → Λ Σ 0 together with its charge conjugate channel (c.c.) has been measured at LEAR. The incident p momentum was 1.695 GeV/ c , corresponding to an excess energy above threshold of 14.8 MeV. Results are given for the production cross section and the differential cross section as well as for the polarization. Comparisons are made with theoretical calculations and with the reaction p p → Λ Λ .

Normalized Legendre polynomials of fits to data. Lambdabar Lambda data from Barnes et al., PL 189B (87) 249.
Cross sections of the reaction K − p → π + π − π 0 Λ are determined in a bubble chamber study at 10 incoming beam momenta between 1.425 GeV/ c and 1.800 GeV/ c . For the subsample K − p → ωΛ , cross sections and angular distributions are presented together with their Legendre polynomial expansions and those of the single and joint density matrix elements. An energy dependent partial-wave analysis is performed including earlier data. The data is well fitted by constant background amplitudes in the outgoing S, P and D waves plus two I = 0 resonances in this region, the well established G 7 Λ(2100) and the P 3 Λ(1870).

LEGENDRE POLYNOMIAL EXPANSION COEFFICIENTS OF D(SIG)/DOMEGA.
We present the results of a formation experiment for the reaction K − p → Λπ 0 in the cms energy between 2200 and 2436 MeV with a total statistics of 10 eV/μb. A partial-wave analysis including these new data gives evidence for the existence of three resonances in the P 3 , D 5 and G 9 (or H 11 ) states in this mass region.

Final results are presented of the analysis of the elastic channel in an exposure of 40 000 pictures at each of the four incident K + momenta 2.11, 2.31, 2.5 and 2.72 GeV/ c taken in the 1.5 m British National Hydrogen Bubble Chamber at the 8 GeV/ c proton synchrotron at the Rutherford High Energy Laboratory. Differential cross sections are presented and the results are compared with other published data. A Legendre polynomial analysis requires partial waves up to G wave at all momenta. For the backward peak, visible at each momentum, the slope and the intercept are calculated. A comparison of the forward peak is made with extrapolations from Regge models fitted at higher momenta.
RESULTS DIFFER SLIGHTLY FROM THOSE PREVIOUSLY REPORTED IN J. M. BRUNET ET AL., NP B36, 45 (1972).

The PS185 experiment at the CERN Low Energy Antiproton Ring (LEAR) has studied the reaction p ̄ p → \ ̄ gLΛ at several momenta. In this paper results from two runs with high statistics at 1.546 GeV/ c and 1.695 GeV/ c are described. Based on 4063 and 11362 analysed events, respectively, differential and integrated cross sections, polarizations and spin correlations are presented. The singlet fraction, extracted from the spin correlations, is consistent with zero at both momenta, showing that the \ ̄ gLΛ pairs are produced in a pure triplet state. A comparison of the decay asymmetry parameters of Λ and \ ̄ gL reduces the upper limits for the violation of the CP invariance for this system.
