Based on data samples collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring at center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s} >$ 4.4 GeV, the processes $e^+e^- \rightarrow \omega \chi_{c1,2}$ are observed for the first time. With an integrated luminosity of $1074 pb^{-1}$ near $\sqrt{s} =$ 4.42 GeV, a significant $\omega \chi_{c2}$ signal is found, and the cross section is measured to be $(20.9 \pm 3.2 \pm 2.5)\pb$. With $567 pb^{-1}$ near $\sqrt{s} =$ 4.6 GeV, a clear $\omega \chi_{c1}$ signal is seen, and the cross section is measured to be $(9.5 \pm 2.1 \pm 1.3) \pb$, while evidence is found for an $\omega \chi_{c2}$ signal. The first errors are statistical and the second are systematic. Due to low luminosity or low cross section at other energies, no significant signals are observed. In the $\omega \chi_{c2}$ cross section, an enhancement is seen around $\sqrt{s} =$ 4.42 GeV. Fitting the cross section with a coherent sum of the $\psi(4415)$ Breit-Wigner function and a phase space term, the branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(\psi(4415)\to\omega\chi_{c2})$ is obtained to be of the order of $10^{-3}$.

The process $e^{+}e^{-}\to \eta^{\prime} J/\psi$ is observed for the first time with a statistical significance of $8.6\sigma$ at center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} = 4.226$ GeV and $7.3\sigma$ at $\sqrt{s} = 4.258$ GeV using data samples collected with the BESIII detector. Using data samples collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider at center-of-mass energies from 3.810 to 4.600 GeV, we perform a study of $e^{+}e^{-} \to \eta J/\psi$ and $\pi^0 J/\psi$. Statistically significant signals of $e^{+}e^{-} \to \eta J/\psi$ are observed at $\sqrt{s}$ = 4.190, 4.210, 4.220, 4.230, 4.245, 4.260, 4.360 and 4.420 GeV, while no signals of $e^{+}e^{-} \to \pi^{0} J/\psi$ are observed. The measured energy-dependent Born cross section for $e^{+}e^{-} \to \eta J/\psi$ shows an enhancement around 4.2~GeV. The measurement is compatible with an earlier measurement by Belle, but with a significantly improved precision.

Using the DASP detector at the DESY storage ring DORIS we have continued measuring e + e − annihilations near and on the ϒ(9.46) resonance. From the cross sections for e + e − → μ + μ − and e + e − → hadrons we obtain a μ + μ − branching ratio for the ϒ(9.46) of (2.9 ± 1.3 ± 0.5) %, a leptonic width г ee = (1.35 ± 0.11 ± 0.22) keV and a total width of (47 −15 +37 keV.

Using data from the Fermilab 15 ft hydrogen bubble chamber, we have studied inclusive ϱ 0 production in antineutrino-proton charged-current interactions. We measure (0.21 ± 0.03) ϱ 0 /event, corresponding to ϱ 0 / π − =0.12 ± 0.02. As a function of Q 2 and for hadronic masses above a threshold region, the ϱ 0 / π − ratio shows little variation. At least 50% of the ϱ 0 's are consistent with coming from the current fragmentation region. The results agree reasonably well with the predictions of the quark fragmentation model of Feynman and field.

The azimuthal dependence of the flow of hadronic energy about the momentum-transfer direction in charged-current deep-inelastic neutrino-nucleon scattering is used to study gluon emission and the transverse momentum 〈kT〉 of partons confined inside the nucleon. A 7-standard-deviation azimuthal asymmetry is observed indicating an average 〈kT〉=0.303±0.041 GeV/c.

Using data onvp and\(\bar vp\) charged current interactions from a bubble chamber experiment with BEBC at CERN, the average multiplicities of charged hadrons and pions are determined as functions ofW2 andQ2. The analysis is based on ∼20000 events with incidentv and ∼10000 events with incident\(\bar v\). In addition to the known dependence of the average multiplicity onW2 a weak dependence onQ2 for fixed intervals ofW is observed. ForW>2 GeV andQ2>0.1 GeV2 the average multiplicity of charged hadrons is well described by〈n〉=a1+a2ln(W2/GeV2)+a3ln(Q2/GeV2) witha1=0.465±0.053,a2=1.211±0.021,a3=0.103±0.014 for thevp anda1=−0.372±0.073,a2=1.245±0.028,a3=0.093±0.015 for the\(\bar vp\) reaction.

Results on inclusive K s 0 production in e + e − annihilation at mean center-of-mass energies of 9.4, 12.0 and 30 GeV are presented. The ratio R (K 0 ) = 2 σ (K s 0 )/ σ μμ rises from 3.10 ± 0.75 at √ s = 9.4 GeV to 5.6 ± 1.2 at √ s = 30 GeV, corresponding to an approximately constant K 0 /charged-particle ratio of 0.12 ± 0.02. A similar ratio for K 0 / charged particle is observed for direct hadronic decays of the ϒ.
