Data are presented on the production of the KN π final states in K + p interactions at 7.3 GeV/ c . The energy dependence of the KN π final state cross sections, the effective-mass distributions, and the spectra of c.m. longitudinal momenta are given, and features of these data are compared with predictions of the generalized Veneziano (GV) model. Furthermore, we present the momentum transfer and decay angular distributions for K ∗ (890), K ∗ (1420) and Δ (1236) production within the KN π final states and discuss these quasi-two-body reactions in terms of the GV model.

We present the results of a study of 1173 uniquely identified events of the K 0 π + p final state produced in 10 GeV/ c K + p interactions. This final state is dominated by the quasi two-body processes K + p → K 0 N ∗+ (890 p and K + p → K ∗+ (1420) p . The background is very low and there is little overlapping of resonance bands. We present cross sections, t -distributions and decay angular distributions for the contributing reaction channels. Dips are observed near t = 0 in the differential cross sections for all three processes.

Single-pion production in k+ p interactions at 4.6 gev/c

Nucl.Phys.B 28 (1971) 528-540, 1971.
Inspire Record 68682 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.33570

A study of K + p interactions at 4.6 GeV/ c leading to single-pion production is presented. Cross sections for the final states KΔ, K ∗ (891)p, K ∗ (1420)p are given. Comparison of the results of this study with published K − p and K − n data at the same momentum indicates that corresponding K − cross sections are significantly smaller, but other features such as momentum transfer distributions and density matrix elements are very similar.
